President, Institute for European Perspective and Security
Emmanuel Dupuy is President of the Institute for European Prospective and Security (IPSE), an independent think tank that addresses security and defense issues. He is also Associate Professor at the University of Paris-Sud (Geopolitics, Business Intelligence, Political Marketing and Communication). He has held various political positions such as Parliament assistant in the Upper and Lower Chamber, Regional Council of Ile-de-France, Mayor of Paris, as well as being a key member of several previous presidential campaigns. He is currently National Secretary for Defense of UDI (Union des Démocrates et Indépendants, Centrist party) and General Delegate in charge of International Affairs of Les Centristes. Prior to these positions ha has had various academic as well as ministerial Cabinet positions (Defense and Veterans Affairs). He is an International Visitor Leadership Program alumni (2009).
